Many people start dating when they’re in their teens
but others may choose not to date until later.

For some teens, dating may not be a part of their culture. If you’re dating, it can be fun, exciting and a great way to learn more about yourself and your values. But dating can also make you feel stressed or confused.

In this section, you’ll learn about dating basics, as well as other stuff like flirting, breaking up, long-distance dating, dating if you’re gay, lesbian, bi or trans
and dealing with your parents.

You’ll also learn about healthy and unhealthy relationships and how to handle more complicated dating situations, like friends with benefits, dating someone older, and what to do if your parents disapprove of the person you’re dating for other reasons, like
racism or discrimination.
